Fergus Byrne 23022017

Fergus Byrne will present a talk on his work in performance art and sculpture. It will focus on his response to specific architectural structures in the creation of work and how his physical training in martial arts and dance informs his response to space and the creation of objects. Fergus Byrne studied fine Art in NCAD in the '90s and later did an MA at Hull University in Theatre and Contemporary Practice. He has performed internationally, collaborated in the curation of events;Transversal with Deirdre Murphy, Butoh Film Festival with Ambra Bergamasco and his writing features in Performance Art in Ireland; A History.
