David Fagan 28022019

David Fagan is an artist based in Dublin and Glasgow. Through performance, video and sculptural installation, his works make attempts at a sense of belonging to other spaces and biographies. Commonplace audio and video telecommunication devices are often employed to reduce the impact of time and distance on one’s ability to connect with another. Fagan is currently interested in the planning and social history of suburban sprawl with a focus on Dublin's western expansion. Fagan is a current tutor in Department of Sculpture & Expanded Practice. He holds a MFA from Glasgow School of Art and a Joint BFA from NCAD. Shows: Self Improvement, Onono, Rotterdam.
